He would like to finish Wimbledon but also admitted to the fact that the opening season at Melbourne this year could potentially be his last tournament.
Bautista Agut put an end to Murray’s splendid career at Melbourne tournament where Murray had been the finalist five times in the past when he defeated him in five-set by 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 6-7 and 6-2.
Murray during his on-court interview with his former coach Mark Petchey said to media, “it was incredible, thank you so much for everyone who came out tonight. I have loved playing here over the years. It is a great place to play tennis at. If this was my last match then it was an amazing match to end. I literally gave everything I had tonight in this match but it was not enough. So congratulations to Roberto and his team.”
