Bayern routs Tottenham by 3-1 to win all of their group games in Champions League

Bayern Munich was able to finish their group stage for this year’s Champions League with a perfect record to be the only team to have on all of their group games.  The last game was against Tottenham which they won by 3-1 as both of the teams qualify or the knockout stages.

Only 2.5 months off getting beaten by Bayern in London for a 7-2 loss, Tottenham was at least able to keep themselves from getting a horrible defeat like last time.

The first 2 goals of the Bayern were scored by during the first half respectively while the first and only goal of the Tottenham was scored by Ryan Sessegnon, their offseason signing.

As for the game-winning goal of the Bayern Munich, it was scored by Philippe Coutinho during the 64th minute to let Bayern Munich win their 6th consecutive win for the Group B. previously Bayern Munich had been not too great in the Bundesliga as they are ranking 7th in the league.

This is the first time ever for Bayern Munich to end the Champions League group stage with this many points. The last team to have this feat in Champions League was Real Madrid back in 2014-201 season.

The only bad thing for Bayern in this game was seeing Coman to be forced out of the game following him landing awkwardly on the left leg to keep the ball in play momentarily before the halftime.

Bayern was helped by Coman during the 14th minute with a bottom corner netter following a pass received fro teammate Serge Gnabry. Serge Gnabry also made one goal to allow Bayern to take the commanding lead of the game in the 1st half.

Coman was replaced by the substitute player Müller who made a quick impact as he forced the ball from home to score from close range during the 45th minute of the game.
