Rodrigo Becao was able to score his maiden goal of the professional career to help his team Udinese win against AC Milan by 1-0, who were playing with new coach Marco Giampaolo on Sunday.
Giampaolo replaced the former coach Gennaro Gattuso back in June and is ready to give up his favorite formation of 4-3-1-2 after the first disappointing performance of the team who did not even get a chance to make a shot for the goal.
Giampaolo said, “You are going to see them again in a different formation. I will still allow them to play in their natural roles. I saw many things that were not done well due to the characteristics of my players. Today’s match was able to give me a lot of inflation to analyze my team and also to develop a new attack.”
The only goal of the game was made by Becao in the 72nd minute following a header into the right corner to enter the net.
The 23 years old Becao was signed by Udinese during offseason from Bahia, a side of Brazil but he had mostly been spending time on loan at another team CSKA Moscow.
