Curry becomes the 5th Warrior’s player with 15,000 regular-season points

Stephen Curry missed his first three tries and got a little frustrated that he even forgot that he only needed ten more points to reach another major milestone of his career.

On the Monday night game of basketball between Golden State Warriors VS Memphis Grizzlies, Warriors were led by Stephen Curry with his 20 points to win the game by 110-93.

Curry with his 20 points for the night was able to become the 5th Warriors’ player in the team’s history to have scored 15000 points in regular season games. Other players who have reached this milestone are Wilt Chamberlain, Rick Barry, Paul Arizin and Chris Mullin.

Curry said, “It was a pretty cool moment. I am just reflecting on the past 9 and a half years and many more to come. I am definitely appreciative of this opportunity and there is definitely more to come.”

Other players of warriors like Kevin Durant scored 23 points with his 5 assists. He also managed to pass the Larry Bird’s record of 21791 points for the 33rd on the NBA’s all-time socking list.

As for Kay Thompson, he scored 16 points with his 5 rebounds.

Grizzlies were led by Marc Gasol with his 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists while Omri Casspi added in his season-high 20 points for the team who have now lost the third consecutive game.

Memphis Grizzlies will now play their second game of the four-game West Coast trip against Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.

As for Golden State Warriors, they will play against UTA Jazz on Wednesday night.
