According to the latest news from the boss of UFC, Dana White, things between UFC and Khabib Nurmagomedov have been finally resolved. However, people think that this is not entirely true.
Nurmagomedov last week threatened UFC that he will leave if his teammate Zubaira who was involved in the post-fight melee is fired from UFC. To this Dana White says, that problem is so last week.
He told the media that, “we are good, we are good with Khabib. You are still posting this news that was so a week ago. A lot has happened since that week in the business.”
White further said, “The fight just ended and we are currently dealing with the commission. Now we are also working on other fights until all this has been figured out.”
Nurmagomedov, his teammates and McGregor all are facing disciplinary actions from Nevada State Athletic Commission for their post-fight brawl. Khabib’s 2 million prize money has been withheld by commission along with Zubaira Tukhugov being detained.
While Khabib is currently waiting on his 2 million dollars purse, McGregor has gone home with his 3 million dollars payday.
