David Rudisha posted the picture of his crumpled vehicle on his Twitter account.

30 years old Olympic Champion wrote, “Thanking the Almighty God for the gift of life. Saturday night around 1030 hours I survived a tragic road accident at Keroka on my way home to Kilgoris after a head-on collision with a bus plying Kisii Nairobi Route. I am fine with no injuries! Thank you for your prayers.”

Rudisha won his first Olympic Gold Medal in games of London 2012 for the 80-m race where he set the world record of 1:40.91.

He then won the second Gold Medal after he managed to retain his title during the Rio de Janeiro games 3 years ago. Rudisha is the wild card entry for the men’s world championships that will be held next month in Doha.
