Davis and Dwight lead the Los Angeles Lakers 120-101 win against the Charlotte Hornets

During the offseason trade, Los Angeles Lakers were able to get two big names of the league and both of them displayed their amazing performance on Sunday night in a match against the Charlotte Hornets.

There is no surprise in the case of Anthony Davis Jr. who has given the Los Angeles Lakers their world-class looks to have a shot at winning the championship.

As for the case of Dwight Howard, it was a miracle how he was able to get in good graces of the Los Angeles Lakers fans.

In the match, Davis scored 29 points along with the 14 rebounds while Howard scored 16 points with 10 boards and 4 blocks to hand Los Angeles Lakers their 120-101 win over the Hornets.

From the top brass of the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James, he posted 20 points with 12 assists and 6 rebounds. Los Angeles Lakers were able to take the 2nd win in a row with a rally in the third round to make the score 18-2 in the quarter. James said, “That is the luxury of our depth.”

As for Davis, who shod his skill during the first 5 points of the team in the first half, said, “I shot the ball really poorly in the first two games. I was only trying to get into the rhythm. When I get easy looks, it kinda gets me going.”

Howard said, “I was not thinking about any other thing, expect a way to help the team win the game and to keep the fans energized. Great things tend to happen when you do that. I am going to keep on doing whatever it takes and also to keep enjoying the game on the court.”

Up next for Charlotte Hornets is a game against the LA Clippers in Los Angeles on Monday night. As for the Los Angeles Lakers, they will host a game on Tuesday night against the Memphis Grizzlies.
