Atlanta Falcons have placed their middle linebacker Deion Joins on the injured reserve after suffering from a foot injury.

Deion; the 2017’s Pro Bowl selection suffered from this injury against the Philadelphia Eagles match held on Thursday at the season opening game.

Coach Quinn of the Atlanta Falcons made a statement that, “after the game of last Thursday, Deion’s reported that he has some soreness in is foot. We sent him for further tests. The results of the tests came back in today. The results have unfortunately compelled us to place him on the injured reserve as he needs to get a procedure done for this complication.  We are bummed of not having him, but we are hopeful that we are going to have him back some point soon during this season. He is the one that we need and hope to look for in a Falcon player. While he is not going to be with us in the field we are certainly going to have his presence in our building.”

Deion’s is amongst the two key defenders who had been lost in the season’s opener. The other man is the Pro Bowl safety player; Keanu Neal who suffered from a season ending knee injury.

To fill up the roster opening, Atlanta Falcons have signed din the Running back Brian Hill from the squad practice.

Hill was the fifth round pick up b flacons back in 2017 and has spent most part of the season in practice squad. He only played one game for the Cincinnati Bengals as they signed him for their 53rd man roster.

Hill ran 37 yards for 11 carries for Cincinnati. The Bengals released Hill in 2018’s preseason and Atlanta Flacons have signed him as their practice squad member.
