Doncic gets 12th triple-double as Dallas Mavericks beat Sacramento Kings by 127-123

On the night when Luka Doncic had set his career-high assists, one of the passes made by him early in the game went into the stands and all he could do was laugh and run back down the court.

Doncic said of that pass, “It was a bad pass. I was laughing. He was open and I should have hit him. That was really a bad pass.” Doncic scored 25 points along with 15 rebounds and 17 assists to have his NBA season leading 12th triple-double as the Dallas Mavericks won over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night for 127-123 victory.




Seth Curry scored 21 points coming off the bench for the Dallas Mavericks, despite the team having Kristaps Porzingis still out due to injury. He has now missed 9 games in a row this season. As for Dwight Powell, he scored 17 points with 9 rebounds while Tim Hardaway Jr. added 18 points for Dallas Mavericks.

Rick Carlisle, the coach for Dallas Mavericks said, “This has been a hard time for us to play against. Lately, matchups have been really difficult. But tonight, our starters, our bench, and everyone contributed to this win in a big way.”

 

Dallas Mavericks had a great 1st half as they scored 71 points in it and hand the Kings their 3rd loss in a row.

From Kings’ side, De’Aaron Fox took the lead with his 27 points along with 12 assists while Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes both scored 25 points each.

Up next, Dallas Mavericks will play on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Mavs have been defeated by Blazers back in October at the American Airlines Center.

As for Sacramento Kings, they will have a game on Saturday against the Utah Jazz.
