Durant lets loose as Warriors beat Spurs by 141-102

Kevin Durant wants everyone to currently forget about the trade chatter and the speculations as to where he will play in the next season as he called all of it “Unnecessary”. All of this is still months away and currently, he is trying to win another championship with the Golden State Warriors.

Durant, the two-time NBA Finals MVP does not want anything with the New York Knicks but that seems to be where he will be heading.

Durant scored 23 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds while Klay Thompson took the lead of the Golden State Warriors as they defeated the San Antonio Spurs by 141-102 on Wednesday night.

Warriors were on fire in the third quarter as they scored 49 points and 16 assists which included 5 of their 7 3-pointers.

Stephen Curry of the Warriors was also not bad as he scored 19 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 block and 2 steals for the team. Curry and his partners were so good that the team did not need the starters for the final 12 minutes.

As for Spurs, they were led by Patty Mills who scored 16 points which had his 4 3-pointers.

Up next, Spurs will continue their 8-game road trip as they will play against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night while Golden State Warriors will play against the Phoenix Suns on Friday night.
