Eddie Hearn firmly insists on his words that Rocky Fielding can defeat Saul Canelo Alvarez on the Saturday night boxing fight that is being held at Madison Square Garden.
Fielding, the Liverpool champion will be defending his WBA Super Middleweight title in this fight but he is going to fight in the match as an Underdog.
Canelo is the hot favorite among the boxing fans but Hearn’s urges people to reconsider Fielding’s prowess in the ring too.
Hearn said in an interview, “I don’t consider Rocky as overawed but he undoubtedly has a mountain to climb on Saturday night. The size difference is for all of us to see and I personally think that this is something that gives us hope as Canelo Alvarez is one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world. Let us all not forget that Rocky is the world champion too and he is defending his title in this fight.”
Canelo only lost one fight in his 53 fight career and that was back in 2013 against Floyd Mayweather. Canelo currently holds the WBA and WBC middleweight titles.
The Mexican fighter has never before fought in the Madison Square Garden. Despite being a little short in size, he is still the heavy favorite amongst the boxing fans for Saturday night fight.
