Eric Molina stopped by Filip Hrgovic in 3 rounds

The WBC International heavyweight title defense fight held between the Filip Hrgovic and Eric Molina ended with Filip Hrgovic retaining his title for the 3rd time in Saudi Arabia on this Saturday night.

Filip Hrgovic dominated the fight from the opening round as he gained the 3rd round knockout win over Molina to end his career record to be now 10 wins in a row. 8 of these 10 wins are won inside the distance.

Filip Hrgovic took the fight to the center of the ring and soon backed Molina to the ropes before he clubbed him to be floored on canvas but the referee did not issue the count.

Molina complained that he was hit in the back of the head was then able to catch Filip Hrgovic with the 2nd round overhand right to slow the assaults of his opponent. But Filip Hrgovic aka El Animal then backed his opponent once more and dropped him on his knees with a hard body shot.

Molina made more complaints about illegal hits but was then floored for the third time and then was counted out at the mark of 2 minutes and 3 seconds into the 3rd round.

Filip Hrgovic told media, “This is a war, man. You need to sue all of your weapons. But I did not punch the back of his head; he was only running away from me. I am now ready for anyone and want to fight all the big names in this division.  I hope that all of the warriors accept my invitation. I am certain that I will be a world champion in my next few fights.”
