Firmino and Alisson star as Liverpool beats Wolves by 2-1 in English Premier League

As Brazilians played at both ends of the English Premier League game of Liverpool VS Wolverhampton, Liverpool was able to win and get 16 points clear into the English Premier League and have a strong chance of winning an EPL title for once in last 30 years.

The game-winning goal was scored by Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino during the 84th minute after Raul Jimenez of Wolves had equalized the game during the 51st minute. Alisson, the goalie for Liverpool was quick on his reflexes as he made 2 crucial saves for the team to keep the score tied up at 1-1 before his team was able to score a goal that allowed for them to be sent forward with their 14th win in a row.

With this, Liverpool has now 22 of their last 23 games of English Premier League this season and the only game they could not win was a 1-1 draw against Manchester United back in September. They are also currently the only unbeaten team in the 40 league games which stretches all the way back to the last season.

They have a chance to extend their lead in English Premier League with 19 points if they won their next game against West Ham next week where they will most likely not be playing with Sadio Mane.

Mane had to leave this game for Liverpool during the 33rd minute after he pulled his hamstring and had to be replaced by Takumi Minamino, who was making his English Premier League debut. He is the 9th player from Japan to be plying in EPL.

Liverpool is currently on their longest unbeaten streak of Premier League season and they are only behind Arsenal who had 38-game winning streak back in 2004-2004 season and Manchester united who had 24-game win streak back in 2010-2011 season.
