Francesca Schiavone, the former French Open winner wins her battle against cancer after seven months

Francesca Schiavone the former player of tennis and the firmer winner of the French open revealed to her fans that she has finally won her battle against cancer after 7 long arduous months.

The 39 years old Francesca Schiavone posted a clip on the social media account this Friday where she explained how she was helped through chemotherapy which beaten the tumor she was diagnosed with back in June of this year.

Francesca Schiavone writes in her post, “I will tell you all what happened to me in the last 7 months of my life. They had diagnosed me with a malignant tumor and this was the toughest battle of my life that I ever had to face. But the great thing about this battle is that I managed to win it. And when I was told by doctors about this win, I was elated and brimming with happiness. I still live with happiness today and I can it with a knife.”

Talking about her future plans, Francesca Schiavone said, “I am ready with my heart and mind for starting a new project that I had planned in my life but never got to fulfill them.  So we will see each other very soon. I am really happy for who I am today.”

Francesca Schiavone, the former Italian tennis star took retirement from tennis back in 2018. Prior to that he has won the French Open title in 2011 and made it all the way to her career-best of no. 4 In WTA rankings.
