Green Bay Packers 23-22 Detroit Lions; Packers late rally led a to a shocking yet exciting win over Lions

In the Monday night game of Football between Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions, Packers were down by 13-0 in the first half. They were having a 3-0 deficit against the Lions when the made a late rally that led to an improbable win by 23-22 at the Lambeau Field.    

Lions were hoping to take a position for themselves in the NFC North win as they opened up the 2nd quarter with 22-13 with 12 minutes to the game. Matt Prater, kicker of Lions made a 54 yards kick following Green Bay Packers’ QB Rodger getting intercepted by Justin Coleman. This was the 5th field goal for Peters in this game.

After that Detroit Lions, who are currently 2-2-1 on the season, were held in their tracks as Aaron Rodgers led Packers for 2 drives.

Rodger made a 35-yard pass to Allen Lazard for a TD with 9 minutes to the game as the scoreboard read 22-20.

Rodgers had been sacked in the third drive but then Green Bay Packersgot a first down with Flowers getting flagged for use of hand illegally in the play.

Packers, who are 5-1 on the season, received the ball with 7 minutes to go and had a 14-play drive ending with a 23-yard field goal by Mason Crosby and the time expired. Flowers again made the illegal-use of –hand giving Green Bay Packers run the clock.

These late-game penalties frustrated the Hall Of Famer from Lions; Barry Sanders, who called them sickening in his Twitter post.

Stafford, the QB of Lions completed 18 of his 32 passes for 265 yards whereas Kenny Golladay, the receiver of Green Bay Packers had an interception for a total of 121 yards.
