For Houston Rockets, this season which has been riddled with many ups and down with lots of injuries, they have found the help in most unexpected places.
After Chris Paul got hurt, they got the boost by signing in Austin Rivers after he was released by the Phoenix Suns. After recent injury of Clint Capela, Rockets scooped up Kenneth Faried after he was released by Brooklyn Nets.
Faried proved himself to be a valuable addition to the team after he scored 21 points and his season-high 14 rebounds on Friday night game of basketball between Houston Rockets VS Toronto Raptors which Rockets won by 121-119.
James Harden said, “The lift was a great gift. Kenneth managed to bring the energy to the team that we have been waiting for.”
As for Harden, he finished his 22nd game this season where he scored 30 points or more as he led the rockets to charge in for a late victory.
Other players of Rockets like Eric Gordon scored 24 points; P.J. Tucker scored 18 points while Austin Rivers added in his 13 points.
This is the 22nd game of the Rockets, in which Harden led the team and he has moved past this leading streak of the Michael Jordan and is now only behind Wilt Chamberlain’s 40 games lead in a row for the NBA history.
As for Raptors, they were led by Leonard who scored 32 points. With this loss, Raptors have now lost their second straight game.
