Houston Texans 24-21 Tennessee Titans: 2 TDs from Deshaun Watson give Texans the win and control of AFC South

The game for the AFC South title between the Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans ended with a 24-21 win for the Texans.  With this win, the top spot of the AFC south goes to Houston Texans who are now 9-5 on the season.

Deshaun Watson, QB for the Houston Texans threw 27 passes and completed 19 of them for 243 passing yards while making 2 TDs along with 2 throwing picks to lead the Texans to win which was always in their hand.




Titians suffered an early joy from their offense s their QB Ryan Tannehill threw 36 passes and completed 22 of them for 279 yards as well as 2 scores. Titians AJ Brown also made 8 catches for 114 yards and 1 TD.

Houston Texans started their worst scoring line in this game of NFL season as Watson got intercepted on a pass intended for Duke Johnson in the end zone.,

Tannehill then connected with AJ Brown for a 60-yard gain on 2nd play but saw the drive end in a 45-yard field goal from Houston Texans’ Ryan Succop.

Titans were then held scoreless for nearly 3 plays as Houston Texans extended their lead with 16-yard TD. Titans tried to reduce the deficit with only 1 minute of the first half but failed to do so.

After the interval, Titans responded with a 1-yard TD from Tannehill. The score was made 14-7 following an extra point made by Succop for the third quarter.

After gaining the lead late in the 4th quarter, Houston Texans held their ground to see the clock went down and then secure their 9th win of the season.

With this win, Texans will next play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a road game while Tennessee Titians will host a game against the New Orleans Saints.
