James leads LA Lakers win over a frustrated Luka Doncic and Dallas Mavericks by 129-114

LeBron James took the easy approach of layups along with quick passes to open up his team’s shooters from the 3-pointer line during the LA Lakers 2nd match with the Dallas Mavericks and their Phenom Luka Doncic.

The 20 years old star of the Dallas Mavericks played only for the first few minutes of the 1st half before he went and tore his jersey into a V-shaped neck in frustration whilst playing against the player he grew up admiring in his childhood.

James scored 35 points along with 6 rebounds while Kyle Kuzma scored his season-high of 26 points; who was starting in place of the injured Anthony Davis Jr., as the LA Lakers defeated the Mavericks b 129-114.

James, the 4 times NBA MVP managed to either score or assist on the first 7 of the 9 of the LA Lakers baskets that allowed them to build a strong 22 points lead during the first half. As for Luka Doncic, he missed 5 of his free throws while his team had a team-worst of minus 24 before ht halftime. This is what led to Doncic tearing his jersey.

Doncic, who is the 2019’s rookie of the year, said, “I played really bad. I felt as if do not know how to play basketball at all. It was not me.  I gotta get better and a lot too.”

As for James, he said, “It is not about how many games you win in a row, it is about how you continue to be better with each passing game and I think that is what our team did tonight.”

Davis missed playing this road game for LA Lakers after he took a bad fall in the LA Lakers’ Tuesday night win against the New York Knicks.

Up next, both of these teams will have their back-to-back games. LA Lakers will play against the OKC Thunder while Mavericks will host a game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
