Kahun and Jarry lead as Pittsburgh Penguins beat Vegas Golden Knights by 4-3

In the game of NHL held on Tuesday night between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Vegas Golden Knights, Pittsburgh Penguins had the season-low of 16 shots on goals but it was still enough for them to win the game.

Dominik Kahun scored 1 goal and 1 assist while the Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry had 32 saves for leading the 4-3 victory of Penguins over the Vegas Golden Knights. With this win, the Pittsburgh Penguins have made a winning start of their 3-game road trip.




As for Vegas, with this loss, their season-long 4-game winning streak comes to an end while Penguins extend theirs to 3 games won in a row. Penguins also have won 6 of their last 7 games on road to have a record of 6-1-0.

Kris Letang, the defenseman of the Pittsburgh Penguins, who is only one assist short of becoming the first defenseman off the Penguins’ history to have record 400 assists in his career playing against the Vegas Golden Knights, said, “It always feels good to beat a team that is this good. They have been playing really great as of lately. We know that this is a tough building to come to and win the game so it is good to get this one.”

Pittsburgh Penguins, which has now won 17 of their 23 games played against the teams of western Conference, improve their record to 12-3-1 since 4th December. There 12 wins along with 25 points are tied with the most wins in NHL right now right next to Tampa Bay.

Other goals were scored by Evgeni Malkin, Patric Hornqvist, and Brandon Tanev respectively for the Penguins, as the team’s captain Sidney Crosby is still not playing due to his injury.

Up next, Penguins will have their 2nd road game on Friday against Colorado while the Vegas Golden Knights will host a game on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings.
