His backup QB for the Kansas City Chiefs; Matt Moore completed 25 of his total 35 passes for 275 passing yards along with 1 TD on his one more impressive display of leading the team.
After both of the teams had exchanged the punts for stating he game, the Chiefs started with their classic Hill TD. Then it was Moore to throw the ball perfectly on the sideline and then Hill to haul the ball in the end zone for a 40-yard TD.
By the time it was halftime, the game was tied at a score of 10-10 due to field goals made by Harrison Butker and Dan Nailey for their teams.
On the first drive of the 2nd half, Ameer Abdullah was wide open from the 16 yards out and was found by Cousins as he strolled into the end zone for giving Vikings their lead despite missing on an attempt from Bailey.
In response to this, Kansas City Chiefs went for the field length on their next 2 plays and running back of the team Damien Williams broke through Vikings defense to score a 91-yard TD. His TD run was the longest TD run so far in this NFL season and also ties with the all-time record of Kansas City Chiefs.
Near the end, Britton Colquitt of the Vikings gave Kansas City Chiefs a great field position following a 27-yard punt with only 2 minutes to the game. It was Butker who then scored the game-winning 44-yard field goal.
This win allows for the Kansas City Chiefs to be 6-3 on the season whereas Minnesota with this loss has the same record.
