India’s wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson silenced his critics by scoring a century in the third IND vs SA ODI match. Samson’s knock of 108 runs off 114 balls in Paarl was instrumental in India’s 78-run win against South Africa.
Following his impressive performance, Samson has been appointed as the captain of the Kerala squad for the upcoming season of the Ranji Trophy. Rohan Kunnummal will serve as the vice-captain, and the return of Vishnu Vinod adds to the squad’s strength.
Sanju Samson has played 58 first-class matches, scoring 3446 runs at an average of 38.71, with 10 centuries and 15 half-centuries. Shreyas Gopal and Jalaj Saxena are the other experienced players in the Kerala side.
