King Kong Bundy; WrestleMania II headliner dies at age 61

King Kong Bundy, the wrestler who was the main event of the 1986 WrestleMania II has sadly passed away at age 61.

In the WWE’s second biggest annual event, Bundy faced another big name of wrestling; Hulk Hogan in a fight which took place inside a steel cage in Las Vegas.

Bundy due to his unique physique was nicknamed as the “Walking Condominium”. He stood tall at a height of 6 feet 4 inches weighing about 458 lbs. Any wrestler who saw Bundy walking up the ropes, the sight of it was enough to intimidate them. His appearance was not the only thing scary about him as he also packed in some destructive offensive force as well.

He was so scary that he asked referees to only count to 5 when he had pinpointed an opponent. This was done to show that the opponent would not be getting back up.

Bundy, the active of Atlantic City started his career in WWE back in the 80s and easily dominated the first WrestleMania. After that, he challenged the legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan for the WWE Championship for a cage fight at WrestleMania II.

Bundy first left the WWE back in the late 80s. However, he still made a comeback in 1994 as the part of the “The Million Dollar Corporation” as he once again started to demolish his opponents.
