LeBron James first game with Lakers ended in a defeat during overtime; Lakers slipped away by 0-3

On Monday night game of Lakers VS. San Antonio Spurs, LeBron James, and Lakers suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the overtime. Despite the fact that LeBron offered splendid play with his late 3 pointers, which drove the game into overtime, Lakers ended in a defeat.

LeBron managed to gain the overtime in the last 2.4 seconds left of the game at the Staples Centre. James scored a three pointer from downtown and his aim was true as it led the game for a tie at 124.

Los Angeles Lakers who are currently without their best players like Ingram and Rondo were fresh with energy as they tried to take the game. Unfortunately, Spurs managed to gain one point in the last minute and set the third defeat of Lakers by 143-142. Lakers were trying to win their first win of the season but they are now 0-3.

James managed to score 32 points and also made 14 assists in a performance that electrified Lakers fan crowd. Unfortunately, his last shot in the overtime was a little off that if landed perfectly could have resulted in Lakers victory.

James in post game interview said, “I missed two free shots tonight. This is unacceptable. They missed a shot, I missed a shot.”

LeBron also said that it is not show-time yet but it has been fun so far with Lakers.
