LeBron James is going to replace Michael Jordan for Space Jam sequel

NBA Superstar; LeBron James is reported to have teamed up with director Ryan Coogler to work on the much anticipated sequel of the movie “Space Jam”.

The news was announced by Springhill Entertainment via tweet on Tuesday. The tweet is the cartoon image of the locker room of this upcoming movie.

James is the for the lead role of the film whose original was actually released 22 years ago. In the first part Michael Jordan held the key role. The production of the movie is set to start in 2019 during the NBA off Season.

Two times Olympic Gold Medalist; LeBron who has recently joined the Los Angeles Lakers said that he absolutely loves Coogler’s vision who has done a great work with Black Panther that has actually been a great box office hit.

James in an interview to Hollywood Reporter said, “This Space Jam collaboration between me and Looney Tunes is so much bigger than me and them together and doing this movie. Through this movie I am just going to teach kids as to much empowered they can feel or how empowered they can be if they just don’t give up on their dreams. Personally I think that Ryan did that for a lot of people”.
