After the head coach of the Los Angeles Rams; Sean McVay shouldered the defeat of the Super Bowl, the QB Jared Goff of the Rams sprung to his defense.
The Los Angles Rams were defeated by 13-3 against the New England patriots in Atlanta on Sunday night. Sean McVay told reporters that he had been ‘Out Coached” by the Patriots’ Bill Belichick.
However, Goff who came to aid of McVay said, “I feel his pain. For him to say something like this, well, e would not be here if it was not for him. We would not have won 13 games in the regular season without his coaching. We would not have had the culture this season without him. He has done many good things or this organization and we hope that he knows that we are behind him.”
Goff blamed his team’s offense as they were unable to unlock the Patriot’s defense.
For 24 years old Jared Goff, who was making his maiden Super Bowl appearance, this defeat was hard to stench because Patriots were restricted for only 1 TD in this 13-3 defeat.
Goff said, “It hurts me knowing how well our defense played. To play this good as defense and not able to hold up the offense is just bad. It was our job to score the points and we did not do that tonight. This is the toughest loss I ever had. It kills, it’s terrible.”
