Mick Schumacher son of Michael Schumacher wins the Formula 3 title in Germany

19 years old Mick Schumacher the son of Michael Schumacher; the legendary seven times Formula One World Champion, has won the European Formula 3 title in Hockenheim, Germany.

Although Mick managed to gain second place in the second race, it was still enough for him to secure this first junior championship of Germany with a total unbeaten 347 points.

This has also made him qualified to participate in the Formula One next season. Although there are many vacant spots in Formula One for him to join bit the next great step for him would be the Formula 2.

One of the previous winner for Formal 3 in its evolving in these few years includes Lewis Hamilton; the four times F1 World Champion.

Mick’s father Michael Schumacher also won his first title of Formula 3 back in 1990, one year before his Formula 1 debut with the Jordan team.

Mick Schumacher with the Mercedes powered team Prema has managed to win 12 races out which are eight consecutive races. He was the 12th overall in his debut last year.

Mick Schumacher after this race said to media, “all of this feels slightly unreal. I am absolutely delighted by all this. I still can’t quite believe all this”.

As for Mick’s father Michael Schumacher, he has not made any public appearance since December of 2013 when he suffered from serious head injuries in a skiing accident in France. Former Ferrari driver is currently living heavily guarded in a private family home in Switzerland.
