Bangladesh’s T20I side consists of young players and an even younger bowling attack, with only Mustafiur Rahman and Mehidy Hasan Miraz as experienced bowlers.

The Kiwis have been surprised by their recent defeats in the series. They will need to perform well in the remaining two games against a confident Bangladesh after their recent successes in Napier. Heading into the T20I series, New Zealand are ranked third in the ICC T20I rankings, while Bangladesh are placed ninth.
