Nick Foles, the QB of the Philadelphia Eagles is going to start for the defending champion’s playoff opener against the Chicago Bears despite getting injured on Sunday.
Doug Pederson, the head coach of the Eagles said that Foes was feeling good and his tests also came out positive. Foles took a heavy hit to the chest when he was sacked late in Eagle’s win against the Washington Redskins on Sunday. This was the win that allowed the Eagles to clinch the playoff berth.
Pederson talking about Foles said, “We will take care of him and make sure that he is ready for next Sunday.”
As for the QB Carson Wentz, the head coach did not have any information. Carson is the no.1 QB for the team who has been sidelined due to a stress fracture in vertebrae.
To end the regular season, Nick Foles stepped in the team’s last three key games. He is 4-1 in five starts this season.
Despite Foles not being team’s one of top quarterback and he is also not going to be with them next season, he still has got a lot of top-game experience.
Foles took over for the Eagles last season after Wentz injury and led them to win the Super Bowl Crown. In that season he also earned the honors of being the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player.
