Nikola Jokic scores his career-high 47 points as Denver Nuggets beat Atlanta Hawks by 123-115

In the match of Denver Nuggets Vs Atlanta Hawks, Nikola Jokic was not keeping track of the points he had scored on the night but he still knew that he was scoring a lot of them.

He said, “I never know what I had scored. I just like the flow of a game. I think that I made a few shots and got to the line a little bit and I think that the flow of the game was really good for me.”

Jokic was able to score his career-high of 47 points as he led the Denver Nuggets to 123-115 victory against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night., Will Barton also helped the Denver Nuggets with his own career-high of 28 points.

The Denver Nuggets came to this game with a surprising loss against the Washington Wizards 2 nights ago and have won 4 of their last 6 games to improve the NAB record of the season by 25-11. They are the 2nd best team in the Western Conference right now.

As for the Hawks, they were led by Trae Young who scored 29 points while Kevin Hurter scored 22 points.

The previous career-high for Jokic was41 points which he managed to achieve 3 minutes before the game to give the Denver Nuggets 114-109 lead. After Jokic, Jamal Murray also stepped up with a turnaround up jumper and then Barton staked his points to give the Nuggets 118-109 lead with only 2 minutes to the game.

Collins said of Jokic, “he is a very skilled player of the team. I felt like he got to the line a lot of time tonight which filled him with a boost but he was still a little down on the stretch. For 4 quarters he still did a very good job as he tried to make the tough shots. We did the bet tonight that we could to get away with a win.”

Up next, Denver Nuggets will play against the Dallas Mavericks while Hawks will host a game on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets.
