Orlov’s goal allows Washington Capitals to beat Lightning by 4-3

Dmitry Orlov was able to score a goal in the overtime at the mark of 3:03 to allow for the Washington Capitals to make a rally and win the game against the Tamp Bay Lightning by 4-3 on Friday night.

Orlov, Jakub Vrana, and Evgeny Kuznetsov had a goal each respectively as well as an assist. The game was tied at first by a goal from Lightning Alex Ovechkin as he scored his team-high 17th goal during the 3rd quarter.

As for the Washington Capitals, they went 2 for 2 on a power play and closed their 3-game homestand with 5 points.

Brayden Point of the Tampa bay scored is career’s 100th goal in this game along with an assist.

As for Nikita Kucherov, he had 3 assists for a game in this NHL season before he was ousted on a penalty that allowed for Washington Capitals’ Ovechkin to score a goal.

Blue Jackets VS Penguins game ended with 5-2 win for the Blue Jackets. Gustav Nyquist scored 3 goals in an amazing performance to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets’ win.

Predators VS Hurricanes game concluded with a 0-3 loss for the Hurricanes as Pekka Rinne of the Nashville Predators made 31 saves for allowing his team their third shutout win of the season. As for Pekka Rinne’s career, it was the 58th win.

Three goals for the Predators were scored by Rocco Grimaldi, Calle Jarnkrok and Austin Watson respectively. This win allows Predators to break their 6-game losing streak against Hurricanes.
