Overtime Goal by Vinni Lettieri move s Rangers past Devils

New York rangers were able to gain a 4-3 victory over Devils when Vinni Lettieri scored a goal at 3:53 of overtime on Monday night’s game.

New York Rangers had a 3-1 lead when Steven Fogarty, Timothy Gettinger and Chris Kreider scored the goals in the third period. In the third period Taylor Hall and Nico Hischiuer scored goals in 3:03 time span to allow Devils for overtime.

Kyle Palmieir also scored goal for New Jersey. Henrkik Lundqvist made 14 saves in the first two periods before he was replaced by Marek Mazanec who also made 11 saves in the third period as well as in over time.

As for Eddie Lack, he made 35 saves and played for an entire game for the Devils.
