Real Madrid tops Galatasaray by scoring 3 goals in starting 15 minutes

For Real Madrid in their home game against Galatasaray, it only took them less than 15 opening minutes to dispel any fear for a  setback at home game and be back on the right track in the Champions League.

Real Madrid scored 3 goals in the game’s opening 14 minutes as the team won over Galatasaray by 6-0 for a dominating win.  With this win, Real Madrid is now much closer to the knockout stage. As for Galatasaray, with this loss, Real Madrid has ended the hopes of the Turkish team to advance further into the European tournament.

For Rodrygo, the Brazilian teenager with Real Madrid in this game had the best debut game of Champions League at home.  He became the quickest player to score a goal in the history of tournament ad also to scorer his first hat trick with the team.

As for Karim Benzema, he scored 2 goals out of the total 6 in this match, to reach the mark of 50 goals of Champions League. His goal record moves him past Italy’s Alfredo Di Stefano.

Two goals from Rodrygo came during the opening 7 minutes while the 3rd goal was added by Sergio Ramos from his penalty during the 14th minute. These 3 goals in a short time window allowed Real Madrid to cruise to an easy home win.

The 4th goal from Benzema was added moments before the halftime and then he scored one more goal late into the 2nd half. As for Rodrygo’s final goal, he scored it during the stoppage time to complete his hat trick.

Zinedine Zidane, coach of Real Madrid said, “Today, we can be happy with our performance. Not only because we had scored 6 goals but also due to us keeping the sheet clean. We played a complete match and in this match, we got the best version of all of our players.”

This dominating win of Real Madrid ends their 3-game losing streak which started at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium for Champions League.
