Team USA once again enjoyed a hell of a start at Ryder Cup’s opening fourballs with a lead of 3-1 as Europe’s struggles.
Europe started off with an encouraging start with a lead of three in four matches but the USA team made a comeback as Dustin and Rickie set the tone of the match with 4&2 win over Thorbjorn and Rory Mcllroy.
Justin Rose and Jon Rahm suffered defeat from Brooks Keopka and Tony Fianu while Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas made a comeback against Paul Casey and Tyrell Hatton to set the score 3-0 for visitors.
European team had a lead of two holes in the bottom match when Woods was struggling from stiff back alongside Patrick Reed. Finally Europe made a score on the board after a spectacular finish by Tommy Fleetwood and Francesco Molinari.
Final match tuned out to be a roller coaster ride as the woods made a birdie at the ninth and Reed chipped at the 10th. However it seems Molinari was motivated by comeback of Casey and Hatton, which resulted in him placing a birdie at 11th and 12th to have a victory at The Open.
Europe needed a big finish for the season which was delivered by Fleetwood who scored a pair of puts to win the 15th and 16th which ultimately set the score of the match wrapped up at 3 & 1.
