Seattle Seahawks 27-24 San Francisco 49ers (OT): 49ers handed first loss of the NFL season

The NFL game of San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks ended with a 27-24 win for the Seahawks. Jason Myers of Seattle Seahawks scored a 422-yard field goal after his teammate Chase McLaughlin missed his kick during the overtime to hand the 49ers their first loss of the season.

Myers handed Seattle Seahawks, who are 8-2 on the season, their 2nd win in a row during the OT following the QB Russell Wilson getting the players on the 18-yard scramble.

After having a break in the timeout, Myers delivered impressively in the game after he had missed 2 field goals and allowed for the Seattle Seahawks to be once again the contenders for the NFC West with San Francisco being 8-1 on the season.

Seattle Seahawks, despite winning the game, had the chance to win it on their opening possession of the OT after Drew Greenlaw of 49ers got intercepted by Russell Wilson.

From Wilson, this was his season’s2nd intended interception and also the 2nd one on the red zone for the franchise during the OT in the last 25 years. The other one was made by Jacoby Brissett back in 2017 against the 49ers back in 2017.
