Spain wins over Croatia with 6-0 in Nation League

Spain crushes Croatia by a huge margin of 6-0. The final goal was scored by Marco Asensio for whom this was the first International goal that helped Spain to win the Tuesday night’s spectacular match in UEFA nations League.

Croatia was unable to do much against the onslaught of the Spanish footballers. Croatia suffered with on of the worst possible defeat in the team’s history.

The match held in Elche became the first home game for the ex-Barcelona boss Luis Enrique ever since he joined the la Roja club back in July 2018.

The first goal of the night was scored by the native of Elche; Saul Niguez in the 24th minute of the game. He did so by making a header off Dani Carvajal’s long leg cross shot. The shot bounced past the Croatia keeper; Lovre Kalinic.

Asensio then went on to score the next goal for his team with a splendid left foot stroke in the next 32 minutes from over 25 yards. After two minutes of the previous shot, the real Madrid midfielder again shot a splendid kick that rattled the crossbar and settled in another goal for the Spanish team.

The fourth goal was made by Rodrigo after he moved pass the Croatian backline at the 49th minute. 5t goal was made the Spanish team’s captain; Sergio Ramos during the 57th minute which also marked this as the 14th international goal for Sergio.

Te last goal of the night for Spain was made by Isco in the 70th minute.

Spain with this victory has now six points in this UEFA Nations League Group 4 after only two games. Both England and Croatia has no points, after both being lost to Spain in their respective matches.
