New Zealand with their previous T20I victory over India in the first match of the series, now have the cane to win the series with a 2nd T20 match in Auckland on Friday.
The Black Caps managed to gain a 1-0 lead over India after they thumped the Indian team with an 80 runs success in the first match of the T20 series.
Seifert was the hero of the match as he scored 84 runs off of 43 balls as New Zealand condemned India for the worst scoring loss in the T20 series.
Te hosts are not going to make any changes in their play as their skipper Kane Williamson described their performance as “one of the complete performances you search for”.
Williamson added to his statement, “The bowling performance from our side was outstanding. We had run on the scoreboard but our bowling and fielding were also outstanding. Seifert was especially amazing.
As for Man of the Match, Seifert said to media, “it was a great way to start the series. I was picked for some reason and I just backed up myself.”
Indi is currently being led by Rohit Sharma who has failed to reach the double figures in his last three matches.
There is an assumption that Shubman Gil will make a return to the team with Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj being the options if India decides to make ring changes.
