As the talks are currently underway, the Oakland Raider, NFL team might be playing the next season in San Francisco as they will use the Oracle Park.
Media reports indicate that Raiders could very well announce the news about their playing schedule for 2019 at the home of baseball’s San Francisco Giants before they move to Las Vegas in 2020.
The Raiders, who were previously in Oakland, their lease on the Oakland Coliseum ran out at the end of 2018 season with them hoping to have a one-year extension which unfortunately ended in legal disputes with the City of Oakland.
Oracle Pak has hosted many football games in the past but not of NFL. The hosted the California Golden Bears game for the 2011 PAC-12 college season.
There are still many oppositions from San Francisco politicians over Raiders using the stadium and local media reported that announcement about anything could well be made later this week.
The NFL is also in wait for their news as they are also waiting to release the 2019’s regular season schedule. Oakland is set for two home pre-season games as well as 7 home games in 2019. Raiders will also be applying the eighth game in London.
