Lately, things have been going so well for the NHL team Tampa Bay Lightning that they have now started to judge the quality of their wins.
Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning, after stealing the puck from Avalanches Nathan McKinnon and scoring the game-winner for 4-3 win for Tampa Bay Lightning said, “I don’t know. I don’t think that we played really well today. We have got to improve a lot to bettering our game because there are a lot of good teams ahead of that we have to play against. I don’t think that we had a good effort today.”
Kucherov scored the game-winner during the 3:03 into0 the overtime which resulted in Tampa Bay Lightning to have their franchise-best of 11th consecutive win.
Pavel Francouz, goalie for Avalanches said, “Their best players were able to get a breakaway and I was not able to stop that. Their best player is able to get the puck on the blue line and he was tracing with Nathan. He kind of opened me up a little bit and he then shot it in 5-hole”.
This game held between two of the best NHL teams felt as if it was a little bit of a playoff game as it had its momentum swing with hard hits and some short tempers of players.
Up next, Tampa Bay Lightning is going to play against Vegas Golden Knights for a Thursday night game while Colorado Avalanche will be hosting a game on Wednesday night against the New York Islanders.
