If the president of UFC Dana White gets his way then the most anticipated fight of UFC Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson will happen on April 18th, 2020 in New York City of Brooklyn.

As per the reports on Monday from ESPN, the partner for UFC, White said that the company is hoping to book the Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson fight at the Barclays Center as the main event for the pay per view fight. As for the fighters, either of them has to confirm on the final date.

Ferguson’s managing group named Ballengee Group said that both parties are through to the last stages of the negotiations. As for the manager of Khabib, Ali Abdelaziz teased the fans hoping for the Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson fight with a tweet saying, “Breaking News Soon”. He also later posted on twitter a photo for a purported signed agreement for the Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson fight by the lightweight champion of UFC Khabib Nurmagomedov.

From the year 2015 to 2018, UFC has tried its best to have a Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson fight between these two fighters. Ferguson has a career rocked of winning 25-3 MMA and 15-1 UFC fights whereas Nurmagomedov has a record of 28-0 MMA and 12-0 UFC.
