Toffoli leads Los Angeles Kings to end their losing skid with 3-1 victory over Rangers

The forward for the Los Angeles Kings, Tyler Toffoli has been hearing about his underhanded performance through his entire contract season.  However, on the night of the game of Los Angeles Kings VS New York Rangers, he was finally able to put himself on the scoresheet and allowed for his team to win.

Tyler Toffoli scrod 1 goal as well as 1 assist to lead Los Ageless Kings to end their 4-game losing skid to win over the Rangers by 3-1.

Tyler Toffoli said of his grail, “I know that I need to play much better and I really stepped up tonight and thought that I had a really good night today.”

The other goals were scored by Dustin Brown and then an empty netter scored by Adrain Kempe as the Los Angeles Kings on their 3rd game in their last 10 games. As for their goalie Jonathan Quick, he made 29 saves for the team.

As form the Rangers’ side, the only goal of theirs was scored by Artemi Panarian on the late powerplay while their goalie Henrik Lundqvist made 23 saves. With this loss, the 3-game winning streak of the New York Rangers ended.

In order for Toffoli s well as the team to create more production opportunities in the game, Todd McLellan, the coach for the Los Angeles Kings moved Toffoli to the left-wing of the ice rink to face Rangers.  Thus change was paid off with a goal in the late 1st period when following a pass from Toffoli, Brown scored a goal from the left circle through a low slot on the right circle that caused Lundqvist to move but then not being able to regain his footing.

Brown, who has not scored a goal since his last 7 game appearances were able to end his goal drought by making his 7th goal of the season.  This was the 2nd point scored by him in the last 2 games.

As for Toffoli, he made the score 2-0 with only 13 minutes to the 2nd period.
