Tom Lewis wins the Korn Ferry Tour Championship to earn the PGA Tour card

Tom Lewis was able to win the Korn Ferry Tour Championship and with that, he got the playing privileges for the next season of the PGA Tour.

This event was the last for the 3 tournaments of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals where 25 leading players were given the PGA Tour Cards whose playing rights for the next season were not confirmed.

Lewis was not able to attend the first two events of this Tour but then a made a trip to the Indian where hew placed on the second-tier level tour. In that tour event, he had a final round of 65 which allowed him 5-shot victory against the runner up Fabian Gomez.

Lewis said, “I am chuffed but a win is a win. Hopefully, in the future, I can go and create more opportunities on the European Toru and then here as well.”

Earlier on Saturday and Sunday of last week, Lewis was able to post 66s which gave him a two-shot lead for the final round.
