David Law managed to produce a sparkling eagle on the 18th hole to snatch a one-stroke victory at the Vic Open in Barwon Heads, Australia. This is the maiden European title win for David Lawn who gained it on Sunday.
Law, who started the day with three shots off the overnight leader Ormsby, stayed true to his 10 feet of the pin on the par-five 18th and shot in an eagle putt to put the leader Ormsby in pressure.
Ormsby, who was playing the hole behind came down with a double-bogey on the par-three 17th, which gave Law the clubhouse lead.
Law at the trophy presentation claimed a prize of 1.5 million dollars winner cheque.
