Video of Raekwon McMillan’s hit on NFL QB Tom Brady which led to game official saying, ‘Stay off Tom’

There is no surprise in the fact that the NFL wants to keep their superstar QB in healthy condition. After all this has been a chaotic season as there had only been a few weeks into it and already many of the renowned QBs are lost to injuries.

The last thing that NFL would like to see is the star of the NFL team New England patriots’ QB Tom Brady joining the list of injured QBs.

Recently, Raekwon McMillan, the linebacker of the Miami Dolphins told media that he was told by Bill Vonovich of the officiating crew told him to stay off Tom after he gave Tom Brady a legitimate hit. This just shows that the officials at NFL are going an extra mile for the sake of protecting Tom Brady.

Below is the video which shows the legal hit by Raekwon McMillan on Brady and there is midcult to find any fault in this play.

As Brady threw the ball in hand, Raekwon McMillan came from edge and stuck Brady and it could be seen clearly as how mindful was he about hitting the QB. McMillan only made a little contact with Brady’s torso with his shoulder and did not go through the whole drive. He did not feel on top of Brady with his entire body weight instead he completely let it all up.

The linebacker said to media, “Tom did not say anything about this hit but the referee called out to me saying, Stay off Tom. I then put my hands up saying ‘I got you.’”

The game ended with a one sided 43-0 win for the Patriots.
