Vontae Davis of Buffalo Bills quits NFL during the halftime

Corner back for the Buffaloed Bills in a shocking revelation told the Bills head coach Sean McDermott that he is done. He said so in between the Sunday’s game of Bills vs. Chargers. After saying this one word during halftime, he retired from NFL.

30 years old Davis did not returned during the second half of NFL’s 10th season match. Bills lost the match by 31-20.

McDermott told media that “Davis has left the game voluntarily during the first half. He pulled himself out of the game saying that he was done.”

Davis was signed by Buffalo’s in February for a deal of one year for about 2.5 million dollars. This also included a 1.5 million dollars signing bonus as well.

Davis was also the team player during Bills defeat against Ravens on last week game.

He started with Bills for the Sunday game but in the half time he came to a realization that he does not belong here.

Davis explaining his sudden retirement from NFL in an Instagram post stated that,

“I mean no disrespect to my team members for this. Today on the field it hit me hard and really fast that I should not be here anymore. Being on the field just did not felt right to me.”

Lorenzo Alexander, linebacker for the Bills said to media about this sudden retirement form game that,

“I have never ever seen that, for a Pop Warner High School pro, never header of it and never seen it. This was just disrespectful to his teammates. He did not say anything to his teammates. I myself found out about his going during the second half. They told me he is not coming back he retired, that’s it”.
