Westbrook and Harden lead Houston Rockets 121-105 victory over Denver Nuggets

Houston Rockets saw well as to how much they can achieve if 3 of their players, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and Eric Gordon all played relay well on the same night.

Westbrook scored 28 points along with his 16 rebounds and 8 assists while harden added in his 27 points as the Houston Rockets ended their 4-game losing streak to win by 121-105 over the Nuggets.




Mike D’Antoni, the coach for Houston Rockets said, “If we can get everybody like they were tonight; you now, James has a good game, Eric has a good game, and Russell has a good game. If we can get all of them to have their good game on the same night, we are going to be tough to be beaten and we are good. We have only struggled with that.”

Westbrook managed to make 11 of his 15 off the field shots along with 4 steals.  He only missed his second straight for his triple-double.

Westbrook said, “We are playing our game.  We cannot get discouraged not one bit.  Tonight we did a really good job of playing our own game as we led defensively.”

Harden scored 20 of his points in the 1st half for Houston Rockets. He was 2 for 6 on the 3s after going for 1 on 17 from 3s on Houston Rockets’ Monday night game they lost against OKC Thunder.

As for Eric Gordon, he scored 25 points and was 6 of 8 on the 3s with Clit Capela scoring 14 points along with 14 rebounds. This is the 8th straight win of Houston Rockets against the Denver Nuggets at home.

Nikola Jokic took the lead of Nuggets with his 19 points, 10 assists and 12 rebounds for his 8th triple-double of the season. As for Jerami Grant of Nuggets, he scored 17 points with 7 rebounds while Torrey Craig scored 14 points with 7 rebounds.
