Moments after US women team won their record 4th World Cup title by defeating the Netherlands by 2-0 on Sunday night; the famous footwear brand Nike extended their congratulations to them by unveiling their new ad titled, “Never Stop Winning”.
The ad features black and white images of US women’s team as well as their fans in a 60 seconds long ad that sends a powerful message to never stop winning and believing in one’s own self.
“I believe … that a whole generation of girls and boys will go out and play and say things like, ‘I want to be like Megan Rapinoe when I grow up’ and that they’ll be inspired to talk and win and stand up for themselves …”
The final image of the ad portrays the World Cup win by USWNT as they held high the World Cup trophy that has the tagline written, “This team wins. Everyone wins.”
