Italian GP; Lewis Hamilton gains victory after Sebastian Vettle spin at Monza

Lewis Hamilton manages to win the Italian Grand Prix when he over taken the both Ferraris. Sebastian Vettle ranked fourth at the race after his car spun in the lap one after clashing with tile rival.

On today’s exciting race, Hamilton defeated the Ferrari by denying them their first ever victory in eight years at Monza. He did so by overtaking Kimi Raikkonen in the final 10 laps and gained maximum points. This lead of ten points made him bale to take a lead of 30 points over Sebastian Vettle which is a season high score.

Hamilton and Vettle both collided with each other in the opening lap. Hamilton managed to be on the outside and maintain his position whereas Ferrari of Vettle spun hard. The incident was deemed as a racing incident after Stewards conducted proper investigation.

Hamilton is clearly overjoyed at his victory who had been jeered at by Italian crowd for nearly this whole weekend. In his joy he made these remarks, “Today was very difficult. Although negativity is not a great motivator but it still powered me along this race. I actually accepted it.”

Third rank was initially of Max Verstappen but he was even thrown behind Vettle after his five second collision penalty with Red Bull’s Valtteri Bottas.
