During the third period of the Colorado Avalanche VS Maple Leafs game, Valeri Nichushkin scored a shorthand goal to lift the team for a 3-1 vestry over the Maple Leafs.
Nathan MacKinnon also scored a goal for the Colorado Avalanche along with an assist while Joonas Donskoi scored the goal. As for the goalie of Colorado Avalanche, Philipp Grubauer made 38 saves for the team.
From the Maple Leafs side, the only goal was scored by Zach Hyman while their goalie Frederik Andersen made 27 saves which is the consecutive time he has done so since January of 2017.
In the power play, Jason Spezza, the center of Maple Leafs had his stick shattered on one shot as he tried to keep the puck at the blue line with his feet. He then got caught up by his teammate named Morgan Rielly. This allowed for Nichushkin to move in all alone and then score his 3rd goal of this NHL season at the mark of 6:40 to give Colorado Avalanche a lead of 2-1.
Maple Leafs, who was having Mitch Marner return in this game after missing 11 games due to his ankle sprain, tired to make a difference for the team and pressed on late. However, he was still not able to make anything push past the Colorado Avalanche goalie. 
As for the game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and St. Louis Blues, it ended with a 3-0 win for the Penguins. Stefan Noesen made his first goal for the team and also his first one since his time away from tea since Halloween.
Teddy Blueger then scored the 2nd goal or the penguins after getting only 39 seconds into the game. As for the last goal of the Penguins, it was scored by Alex Galchenyuk, which was his season’s 2nd goal.
The game of Senators VS Oilers ended with 5-2 victory for the Senators as Tyler Ennis scored one goal with 1 assist to help his team break their 5-game losing skid.
The other 4 goals for the Senators were scored by Artem Anisimov, Connor Brown, Anthony Duclair and Vladislav Namestnikov respectively.
