Green Bay Packers 17-31 New England Patriots; Aaron Rodgers loses to Tom Brady

New England Patriots won over the Green Bay Packers by 31-17 on the Sunday night football. Tom Brady threw for 294 yards along with 1 TD and with this, he has won over Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers, in the season meeting of these two NFL giants, threw for 259 yards along with two TDs but unfortunately, it was not enough for Packers to make a return in the fourth quarter with the score standing at 14.

James White of the Patriots opened with two short yard TDs on the night. Two teams traded for a bit until Rodgers tied the match with a two yard throw to Davante Adams.

Patriots recovered and took the lead before half time with help of Cordarrelle Patterson’s five yard TD. However, Rodger again tied the game with a 15 yard pass to the tight end Jimmy Graham of the Packers in third quarter.

At 17-17, Packers were looking to take the lead but unfortunately, the Pacers player Aaron Jones lost a fumble for the Green Bay Packers.

New England took the revenge for this with a 37 yard catch and run by White thrown by Julian Edelman. Brady iced the game for a win with his 55 yard TD pass to Josh Gordon.

With this, Patriots gained their sixth consecutive win of the season and are now at 7-2 for the season and as for Packers, they are at 3-4-1 for the season in the NFC.

FIRST QUARTER

Packers 0-7 Patriots: James White made an eight-yard touchdown run.

Packers 3-7 Patriots: Mason Crosby made a 29-yard field goal.

SECOND QUARTER

Packers 3-10 Patriots: Gostkowski made a 28-yard field goal.

Packers 10-10 Patriots: Aaron Rodgers made a two-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams.

Packers 10-17 Patriots: Cordarrelle Patterson made a five-yard touchdown run.

THIRD QUARTER

Packers 17-17 Patriots: Rodgers made a 15-yard touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham.

FOURTH QUARTER

Packers 17-24 Patriots: White made a one-yard touchdown run.

Packers 17-31 Patriots: Tom Brady made a 55-yard touchdown pass to Josh Gordon.
