Los Angeles Rams tasted the first defeat of the season by hands of New Orleans Saints on the Sunday night football. New Orleans Saints recovered in the second quarter of the game to secure a win by 45-25 in a high scoring thriller game.
Drew Brees, the quarterback for the Saints threw four TDs along with a 72 yard strike to Michael Thomas in the second quarter with only four minutes remaining to the game. With this New Orleans Saints came up with 45-35 for a game that was previously tied by rams in the fourth quarter.
Thomas made a single game record for the most receiving yards Rams by catching 12 passes for 211 yards and as for Brees, he completed 26 of his 36 passes for 364 yards.
On the Rams side, their quarterback Jared Goff was tied up for 14-14 as both team and one TD on their first two possessions. Unfortunately, Saints recovered in the second quarter with three consecutive scores.
Rams came roaring back from a 35-17 score and tied the game with only 10 minutes remaining to the game in the fourth quarter. Still, the Saints, offense which was increased from the second quarter contributed majorly by Thomas who made a home run to ice the game.
The Saints move ahead by a 7-1 for this season and Rams are now at 8-1 for this season in the NFC conference.

Rams 7-7 Saints: Todd Gurley made an eight-yard touchdown run.
Rams 7-14 Saints: Drew Brees made a 16-yard touchdown pass to Kamara.
SECOND QUARTER
Rams 14-14 Saints: Jared Goff made a four-yard touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks.
Rams 14-21 Saints: Brees made a four-yard touchdown pass to Tre’Quan Smith.
Rams 14-28 Saints: Brees made a 13-yard touchdown pass to Benjamin Watson.
Rams 14-35 Saints: Kamara made a one-yard touchdown run.
Rams 17-35 Saints: Zuerlein made a 56-yard field goal.
THIRD QUARTER
Rams 24-35 Saints: Goff made an 18-yard touchdown pass to Malcolm Brown.
Rams 27-35 Saints: Zuerlein made a 34-yard field goal.
FOURTH QUARTER
Rams 35-35 Saints: Goff made a 41-yard touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp.
Rams 35-38 Saints: Lutz made a 54-yard field goal.
Rams 35-45 Saints: Brees made a 72-yard touchdown pass to Michael Thomas.
